For macOS · Works beside Zoom, Meet, Teams and more
Meetings that stay on track.
Noteboo sits quietly beside your video call, follows your agenda, and nudges you gently when the conversation drifts. When you hang up, the recap is already written.

How it works
Three steps. No setup ceremony.
Nothing joins your meeting. Noteboo runs on your Mac, listens to your microphone and the call audio, and keeps you on your own plan.
- 01
Give it an agenda, in any form
Type a sentence, paste notes or a calendar invite, drop in a PDF or Word file, or pick an event from your calendar. Noteboo turns it into agenda items with time budgets.
- 02
Join your call. Noteboo notices.
When a call starts, a small prompt asks “Start copilot?”. Say yes and the overlay appears beside the call, tracking which item you’re on and how long it’s taking.
- 03
Hang up. The recap is ready.
A markdown recap with a summary, per-item coverage and time, decisions, action items with owners, open questions, and the full transcript.
During and after the call
A copilot that keeps its voice down.
Everything Noteboo does during a meeting is designed to help without interrupting. It stays small, stays quiet, and only speaks up when it can save you time. Afterwards, your meetings are there for you and your AI agents.
Gentle, rate-limited nudges
When the conversation drifts or an item runs long, Noteboo offers a quiet note and a sentence you could actually say. Nudges are calm by design and never alarms.
Knows where you are
Tracks which agenda item you’re on and time spent versus planned, so you always know what’s covered and what’s left.
Tells people apart by voice
On-device voiceprints separate speakers, and Noteboo learns names from the conversation. Named voices are remembered locally for next time.
Invisible to screen sharing
The overlay never shows up in screen shares or recordings. You can still capture it yourself with ⌘⇧4 or ⌘⇧5.
Listens to both sides
Your microphone and the call audio are transcribed live, so the recap reflects the whole conversation, not just your half.
Your calendar, your agenda
Pick an event from Apple Calendar, including Google, Outlook and iCloud accounts, or calendar subscription links, and use the invite as the agenda.
Optional local recording
Keep audio of your side, their side and a mix, saved on your Mac. Off by default; turn it on per meeting.
Your meetings, in your AI’s memory
Ask Claude what you promised Maya last week, or have an agent pull every open action item. Noteboo serves your meetings to AI agents over MCP.
- FreeLocal MCP for Claude Desktop and Cursor on your Mac.
- CloudA hosted MCP URL for any agent: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or your own.
Read-only: agents can read and search, never edit or delete.
Works beside Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, Slack and WhatsApp — any call that plays through your Mac.
Privacy
Built to be trusted in the room.
A meeting copilot hears a lot. Noteboo is designed so that what it hears stays with you: on your Mac by default, and in the cloud only if you choose it.
Read the privacy policyFree keeps everything on your Mac
On the free plan, your transcripts, recaps, agendas and action items are saved on your Mac and nowhere else. Only the AI requests that transcribe and summarize them leave it.
Cloud is opt-in, and stays in your control
With Cloud, transcripts, recaps, agendas and action items sync to US servers, encrypted at rest. Switch off sync for any meeting with “Don’t sync”, or delete all your cloud data in one step.
Voiceprints and recordings never leave your Mac
Speaker recognition runs on-device, and recording is off by default. Voiceprints and audio files stay on your Mac on every plan; they are never synced.
US-based AI, zero data retention
Every AI request goes only to US-based providers with zero data retention, and that is enforced on every single request, not just by policy.
Agents can read, never change
Agent access over MCP is read-only. On Cloud, you choose which agents connect, and you can revoke their access at any time.
Cancel, and it’s deleted
If you cancel Cloud, your synced data is deleted 30 days after your paid period ends. Your Mac keeps its copy.
Pricing
Pay for meetings, not for seats.
Noteboo is free on your Mac. Add Cloud to reach your meetings from every Mac and every AI agent. Either way, you pay for the AI it uses, and you choose how.

Which call apps does it work with?
Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, Slack, WhatsApp and any other call that plays through your Mac. Noteboo listens to your microphone and the call audio; it doesn’t need an integration with the call app.
Does something join my meeting?
No. Nothing joins the call and there is no bot in the participant list. Noteboo runs on your Mac, beside the call window, and the overlay is hidden from screen sharing and recordings.
What happens to the audio and transcript?
Transcription and nudges use US-based AI providers with zero data retention, enforced on every request. On the free plan, transcripts and recaps are saved only on your Mac. With Cloud, they also sync to your account, encrypted at rest in the US. Voiceprints and any recordings you choose to make always stay on your Mac.
What’s the difference between Free and Cloud?
Free is the whole copilot, with your meetings kept on your Mac, local search, and local agent access (MCP) on that Mac. Cloud ($12/month or $120/year) syncs your meetings to our US servers so you can search across all your Macs, and gives you a hosted MCP URL that any AI agent can use. AI usage is paid separately on both.
Can my AI agent read my meetings?
Yes, if you connect it. On the free plan, Noteboo includes a local MCP server for Claude Desktop, Cursor and Claude Code on the same Mac. With Cloud, you get a hosted MCP URL that Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or your own agent can use from anywhere. Either way, access is read-only: agents can search and read meetings, transcripts and action items, but can’t change or delete anything.
How do nudges work? Will it interrupt me?
Nudges are short, quiet notes in the overlay, such as “Pricing still needs a decision — maybe steer back,” along with a sentence you could say. They are rate-limited and never alarms. You read them when you want to.
What do I get after the call?
A markdown recap: a summary, per-item coverage and time, decisions, action items with owners, open questions, and the full transcript.
What does it cost?
The app is free. Noteboo Cloud is optional, at $12/month or $120/year. For the AI, bring your own OpenRouter key and pay OpenRouter directly, or buy Noteboo credits ($10 for about 22 meeting hours, $25 for about 56, $50 for about 113). Credit usage is charged at the provider’s cost plus 10%, and credits never expire.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your Mac keeps everything, and Noteboo keeps working on the free plan. Your cloud copy stays readable and deletable until 30 days after your paid period ends, then it’s deleted from our servers; we email you a week before. You can also delete all cloud data yourself at any time.
